Oh wow.

Hold on, I’ve been chest-deep in client work, what have they done now??
October 29, 2025 at 9:50 PM
Oy, no spoilers!

You’re right.

And yes, at least not full time! I’ve been waiting for it for more than two years, and finally found the right spot (I hope!) to settle down in.

Does the end of my full-time nomadic days count (if everything goes well)? Or the fact that I have an in-person client retreat coming up in 3 weeks?

Also, it turned out miserably salty because I used a salt I never used before. I got too cocky and put too much of it in my pasta water and didn't try the pasta before mixing it with my homemade sauce - a first for sure.

Sadly, being in love is not the reason behind it all, for anyone wondering!

But if they get emails that show them that we know and appreciate them purchasing before, explain the benefits of another investment, and how it will help their company move the needle even further - it’s way more likely that we’ll see another (significant) sale.

Gotta love ethical email marketing!

This segment, like any segment, requires treatment based on where they’re at in their journey with the company.

If they only get generic sales emails that don’t even acknowledge their past purchases, it’s almost certain that they won’t buy again - or even never want to hear from my client again.

• Have a copywriter on board to write all the emails for this segment (and others),
• Have a tech pro on call for troubleshooting and creating automations,
• And have a few other team members too?

Abso-freaking-lutely.

Because the ROI potential is tenfold.

Plus, we know that it’s much easier (and cheaper) to sell again to those who bought from you before and were happy with their purchase.

So is it worth it for my client to:

• Hire me as their chief email officer to plan, implement, monitor, and optimize their strategy,

But when you look at the data with context, as you’re always supposed to, it makes total sense and then some.

This segment is of a client who bought a similar offer in the past.

And when it comes to B2B, like in this case, the order value is serious.

SUPER irritating...!

I heard something similar from a team member of one of my clients today, actually! I'm thinking that maybe 1 week a month would be too much for me, but I def want to get better at taking a week off once a quarter. That would be a good start.

It sure is. Even though I still think they're all mostly important - but it leaves me very little time to work and very little headspace to be creative and move things forward for my business. Something's gotta give, and it's not my sanity.
