Also a nice trip on Lithuanian Railways (LTG Link) to Trakai, a cute village with a castle on a lake. Very affordable fares, comfortable trains.

If they increased the line speed just slightly so that the trip took just less than 30 minutes, they could make it an hourly service with one trainset 😌

A moment I was waiting for… going on the Antheor viaduct in the beautiful Massif de l’Esterel😍

I tried TTI’s night trains last year between Rome and Calalzo.
Back then, I was blown away by the quality of their sleeping cars. This year, they seem to have raised the bar even higher with a brand-new interior: larger beds, more comfortable seats… and just look at the toilets, it’s insane 🤯

Tipp wenn du in Finnland unterwegs bis: Nach "Lounas" Ausschau halten. Das ist ein Mittagsbüffet, dass es in vielen Restaurants und Cafés gibt. Meistens inklusive Salat, Nachtisch und Kaffee. Überlicher Preis so um die 12 Euro.

Ich bin jetzt nochmal zu der Pizzeria gefahren. Ich glaub das ist die selbe wie vor 6 Jahren.

Endlich hatte ich das Schwarze Meer erreicht. Einen Schwumm habe ich nicht genommen, aber die Füsse habe ich gebadet. Nach einiger Zeit und einem Einkauf bin ich zurück zum Bahnhof des Urlaubsorts, welcher voller Leute war und im Sommer viele Züge nach Norden hat.
