she/her transgender asexual with anxiety and many more fun issues.

master of all the mortal sins.
indeed, we should curb the far right by giving them exactly what they want, after which they will surely back off. this is serious politics, adults back in the room etc etc.

if starmer isn't far right then he must be perhaps the single biggest fool who ever lived.

the racism is somewhat new, I'll grant you that, but there's nothing more quintessentially centrist than sacrificing people on the altar of capitalism and pretending it's a fair and just system.

because the majority of the time when people say this they are saying that trans people are being entitled by wanting to be treated like human beings

at the time I remember thinking something along the lines of 'wow, this could probably be the setup to a horror story if she were the protagonist' but it seems like some people would still find it romantic.

I'm reminded of a mpov romance I dropped years ago because the protagonist was deliberately trying to isolate the female love interest (who didn't realise he was in love with her) from her support network so that she could only rely on him.

idk. I'm a pretty strict submissive who loves being tied up, but the idea of "I love you too much to respect your agency as a human being" would activate my fight-or-flight response.

imo it's almost always better to engage with a story in a weird or unintended way than not to engage with it at all, and it would be a shame if some people ended up dropping stories and/or entire genres unnecessarily because they feel they aren't allowed/supposed to do that.

as a bundle of stress myself, I rarely read tense books intentionally. when I do, I sometimes check beforehand to make sure everything works out ok in the end.

you can argue it leads to a lesser reading experience, but for me the alternative is more realistically no reading experience at all.

you want to read the last chapter first so you know roughly how things turn out? go right ahead! even if you read a complete story breakdown first, you can still get something out of reading the real work afterwards.

if that weren't the case, nobody would ever re-read anything.

You can have a conversation about your (our) specific needs as medical transitioners without pussyfooting around the fact that you clearly think people who don't medically transition aren't really trans.

That's something that drives me nuts about being "cancelled". These people can go on and just live normal lives but no, they feel they deserve the thing that being cancelled proved they did not

And the more rich the worse it is. like Mel Gibson could just do nothing the rest of his life and be fine

"Oh so there's no path to redemption?" Sure there is. Most paths to redemption don't run through the U.S. Senate, though. Go, live a good life. Farm oysters. Diminish and go into the East and be an always improving Graham Platner. Do not be a Senator. And remove that fucking tat.

The belief of many developers and engineers that their work is morally neutral, apolitical, and in some way distinct from physical reality is one of the reasons tech has been able to do so many of the horrifying things it has.

That provision would effectively ban trans health care for people of all ages everywhere in the country. If Dems can't stand up to that, then they deserve to lose forever.
