This news is more consistent with the reality I am seeing. Prices continue to rise...
NEWS: US private employers shed 32,000 jobs in November, according to the latest ADP report. That’s 4 months of job losses in the past 6 months. Small businesses are being hit hardest in the Trump economy. Most industries are seeing layoffs.

Who are all these people who had money to shop on black Friday weekend? NPR said 3% more shoppers than last year. Hard to believe when I couldn't even afford the good egg nog this year.

The only halfway ethical place to shop these days, besides small local businesses.
Breaking: Costco is suing Donald Trump for his tariffs, declaring them illegal and demanding a “full refund” for raising prices nationwide.

This weather/government makes me want to hibernate until spring/Democratic regime change.

Obviously
We would all be better off if Kamala Harris was president right now.

Over 70% of Americans are now living below the poverty line, according to Mike Green. If you make under $140,000 a year, you're living in poverty if we measure it the same way we did in the 1960s....

The only real peace plan is Russia withdrawing from ALL occupied lands and paying reparations to Ukraine.

Surrender nothing to tyrants.

Dept. of Ed is reclassifying all the female dominated professions (nurse, therapist, speech pathologist, PA) as not having “professional” degrees, which makes it harder for them to get educational loans.

Another FUCKED UP thing this admin is doing to attack women’s power.

Take that shit to court!

The fact that they can't even spell "Architecture" is pretty much all you need to know about these clowns.

But yeah, this is insane.
Since these will not be professional degrees they will not be eligible for federal aid or subsidies of any kind. note Education is on this list.

This administration loves wasting money on stupid stuff (e.g. ballroom, name changes) and leaving vulnerable people out in the cold. Literally.

Poetic justice. And the rural reps will have the toughest time and highest costs.
There’s real irony in this: lawmakers can’t get back to DC to vote to reopen the government because flights are canceled, thanks to the same shutdown they caused.

I can't really be mad at the Dems who caved. Republicans are willing to let people starve to take away their Healthcare. Dems are not willing to let people starve to secure their Healthcare. Playing chess with a pigeon, there are no good moves.

REMINDER: President Biden NEVER cut SNAP payments, never even had a government shutdown.

In fact, he cut child poverty in half.
He cut child hunger, too.

I miss having a REAL President.

Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

So the Epstein vote isn't the only reason Mike Johnson should fear Rep. Yassamin Ansari. More of this, please.
Rep. Yassamin Ansari has set up a table and this sign outside Speaker Johnson’s office.

Coffee is on sale! $8 for 12oz, marked down from $12. What a deal...except that when Biden was President, I could get it on sale for $6, marked down from $8.

Our employer-provided health insurance is going up $400 a month. Property taxes up $200 a month.

COLA raise of 3% brings in $250 more a month.

Grocery and gas prices are rising and we just got hit with $4,000 in car repairs.

This is not sustainable.

True
OBAMA: It's fair to say that 80% of the world's problems involve old men hanging on who are afraid of death and insignificance, and they won't let go. They build pyramids, and they put their names on everything. They get very anxious about it.
