Steam coming out with a real console really fucks any potential plans Microsoft might have had for making a console that's basically a PC, huh?

Just want you to know that when I asked Geoff why he gave the silent treatment to an open letter written by his own "future of games" program (& co-signed by 3000+ industry peers), he replied:

"Because that's my show and nobody gets to tell me how I should use my platform". 💀💀💀

This comes from the issue that gacha/F2P style games that its players are marks to be squeezed until you're playing a game out of obligation/to keep up and not because you enjoy it.
Apparently a lot of people online think games aren't as fun anymore, but that could not be farther from the truth. There's more great games than ever now, so where is this coming from? As always, the culprit is capitalism.

I'm only interested in this if it is one of two things:

- A completely faithful retelling of the novel

- A sequel in the style of Watchmen's HBO series

Maybe the answer is for shonen to just never end. Live in this bubble where canon and timelines are for losers and you just keep doing stuff.

It's worked pretty well for Dragon Ball, and I suspect will be the way forward with Toriyama gone. Daima is prolly a blueprint, even if it wasn't great.
They don't know how to end. That's why most of them avoid it for as long as possible.

I feel like this hits on the problem: It's really hard to nail a shonen anime ending. Most outstay their welcome, or the mangaka gets burnt out and they kind of just sputter to the end.

I LOVE DBZ, and I am even a Buu apologist, but that ending? Not great, and its one of the better ones.
Attack on Titan had that REAL odd ending that shut the door on that franchise fandom pretty quick too
