Just saw a thread about a guy calling into cspan saying his diabetic supplies increased from 5 dollars to 80 dollars and somebody in the comments, probably multiple people but I stopped reading, replied “FAFO” and I can’t stress enough how much you need to stop doing that shit

i genuinely think that adults who still cannot wrap their heads around the innate violence of institutions like health insurance companies or banks are like, comparable to toddlers who lack object permanence. if you dont forcibly kill someone right in front of their eyes, they dont see the violence

Having fun improvising a new color scheme, with the Dragon King from KDM. Love how easy blending and transitions are with an airbrush. Goal here is to imitate the view of a thermal imaging camera, since the big man is real hot.

One of my deeply held beliefs about work is that everyone has basically eight hours of good work in them on average. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Any more than that and you’re going to start making mistakes that you’re going to have to spend the good hours down the line fixing.
Braindead founders are understandably incapable of grasping that when all your new hires are quitting a month in, it isn't a transparency problem. It's an "employer and job suck" problem.

Because you can make every employee work 24 hours a day, but ultimately nobody can do introspection for you.

Boeing was taken over by a bunch of quarterly-profit McKinsey types and the last time they killed a bunch of people we let them walk away from it with the ludicrous story that some random test pilot was the real villain.

Of course Boeing acts like they're above the law. They are.

Amid a federal investigation into what caused a door plug to blow off a Boeing 737 Max 9 jet in January, a Boeing top official said the company cannot find documents about the door plug and it's likely that such records never existed.
Boeing says it can't find documents on the door plug that blew off mid-air
A Boeing top official told Congress that employees looked extensively for documents on the door plug and it's likely that such paperwork never existed.
