This week last year, I was thrilled (& intimidated!) to have pirates join me for an RCCC-adjacent viewing of the Chapman swifts! It's bittersweet, because for the first time in 30+ years, the swifts *didn't return* this year, and I'm so glad I got the share the experience while it was still a thing.
