Disturbing… Nigel Farage’s Reform UK Party has opened the floodgates to dark money in our politics by becoming the first UK party to accept untraceable crypto donations, and now he’s accepted the biggest political donation in UK history - £9 million - from a cryptocurrency investor. 38d.gs/vzgv
Shady billionaires can quietly pour money into our elections, completely hidden from view.

It would be a thousand times better for Labour and for Britain if the national debate were about whether to rejoin the EU or not, rather than how hard to punch down at immigrants.

Instead, Labour chose to propagate Farage's argument for him by accepting it had SOME validity and trying to nuance it.

It’s continues to be despicable how the media has spent a decade normalizing the orange felon so much so that they are reporting on his authoritarian militarization of Washington DC as if it were a routine military exercise. They deliberately failed democracy for clickbait.

Farage’s “probity and judgment were sold as the product called Brexit. It turned out to be a piece of shit.”
And, unbelievably, this Labour govt finds itself trapped because it has refused to call this out.
What a profound - and now dangerous - political failure.

Labour’s reluctance to name Brexit as the cause of so many problems hasn’t stopped Reform’s rise. It’s time to try the truth, says Guardian columnist Rafael Behr

Starmer seems to be more concerned with attracting the political right than solving the issues we have and showing the people that Labour are focused on making their lives better.
Brexit promised to “take back control of our borders”
But it also created huge labour shortages
So, govt issued huge numbers of visas to fill the gaps.
It ended reciprocal asylum arrangements with the EU
So, crossings went up.

Govt response?
“Take back control of our borders”
Such a ruinous deceit.

Starmer sounding like a prototype Farage. He continues to pander to the fringe voter who follows Farage, instead of creating change using core Labour principles. He’s lost my vote, and seems to be intent on pushing his core support away.

I’m one of those dodgy immigrants who came here on a spouse visa and got indefinite leave to remain after 12 months.

The incalculable harm I have done to the UK includes dedicating my life to public service, educating thousands of British young people, and paying more tax than I’ll ever get back.

The Labour Party seems to be suffering from cognitive dissonance - supposedly being for those who need support, whilst whipping that carpet of support from under their feet!
We all see it, Caddy Starmer & Co. seem to be following Trump’s lead…
UK must move beyond vague talk of Brexit reset and adopt a more ambitious agenda with the EU.

The EU accounts for 42% of UK goods exports—twice as much as USA. As US tariffs threaten to slow European growth and investment, UK will feel the aftershocks.
