I’m not closely following the Sarah Kendzior debacle, but on an atproto level I’d like to know whether Sarah technically has a way to retrieve her account’s content, or if her right-to-exit has effectively been denied?
Except for illegal content, imo even banned accounts should retain data access.

Content policies are usually private, one-off efforts. You build yours, I build mine, we don't share much about what works or why. This makes sense given products can (and should) set different policies based on their communities, but it leaves us reinventing the wheel. 🧵 1/5

Something I see repeatedly in the ActivityPub community & Fediverse, and with growing regularity in the ATmosphere is people pretending or thinking that they can control data once it has left their server/device.

It should be obvious by now that Elon Musk, primarily with Tesla, has successfully hacked the global financial system.
Tesla as a car company is doing terribly.
TSLA as a stock, in spite of some dips, is doing terrifically.
Well enough that a trillion dollar compensation is rumored. (1/2)
