I think the tricky part is phrasing it in a way that isn't immediately obvious to said terrible husband, honestly. If it's too overt it could make things really unpleasant.

I'm doing this too! I had that same initial reaction, but then I had the depressing realization that it's actually a *reassurance* that is primarily aimed at women with terrible husbands who are afraid he'll find out that she voted for the Dems :( he can only find out IF you voted, not for who.
