I am also my elderly mom's caretaker, and I'm also worried for my mother's health as the heat rises because we have no AC & I can't even spare the money to replace our broken fans.

I don't have any income right now and we only get about $100 in food stamps per month so I just don't know what to do

We're trying to move somewhere safer/better, but that won't be for months, if we even get approved.

And until then, we're just severely struggling with no local resources/organizations and mostly unable to pay for our medications and hospital bills.
