I’m on Day 4 of a migraine, but that’s nothing compared to what people are suffering from USAID cuts, unconstitutional deportations, illegal military actions, and the loss of healthcare access. Thanks to @meactnet.bsky.social for the perfect #MECFS protest shirt. #NoKings Douglasville, Georgia

I am leading a discussion tomorrow with a politically diverse group and I am feeling the weight of that task.

So we went to a reservoir to watch birds and feel peace. AND WE SAW MUTE SWANS!!!!!

They don’t live here. This is our first errant bird sighting! Take that, big scary universe!

The news is bleak, but months ago I planted native spotted bee balm in my yard and this week the flowers finally bloomed and now they’re crawling with giant baby native carpenter bees! So yay! One tiny step towards restoring a healthy ecosystem.

A friend alerted me that @bluegeorgia.bsky.social posted this pic from my #HandsOff speech on the other place.

Huge thanks to @wilhelminaj.bsky.social for allowing me to tell her story, to @exceedhergrasp1.bsky.social and #MEActionGA for aiding me, and to Atlanta for your roaring support.

I’m #StillSickStillFighting and I #StandUpForScience2025 in Atlanta, Georgia. Millions of people are missing from their lives because of infection-associated chronic conditions like #MECFS. We need thriving scientific institutions if we’re ever going to find effective treatments.

My goal for 2025 is to meditate and create. Any day where there is enough space in my energy envelope I will prioritize taking time for stillness and making something. I hope this will help me feel more peace and joy.

I might share my creations here, so here’s today’s cute sensory bin

Hey, me too! I got red, yellow, and green ones to help my toddlers understand my fluctuating #MECFS disability. But it’s an excellent reminder to me to #StopRestPace. I love the messages on yours!
