The “Skin Head Wig” was one of the best lessons in “caveat emptor” imaginable.

A priceless lesson in economics for only $1.

I worried about our ability to change jobs as we pivot to manufacturing, but then I remembered most of my high school class went from being infectious disease experts to economists in only a few weeks.

Well, when you put it that way, we need to accommodate some big guys — not just a bunch of women.

The good news is that the collapse in Help Wanted ad postings under Donald Trump is not unprecedented.

The bad news is that it was slightly worse under COVID.

Read the whole article. This is so fucked up. Especially this line:

“Trump-administration attorneys told the court to dismiss the request on multiple grounds, including that Trump’s ‘primacy in foreign affairs’ outweighs the interests of Abrego Garcia and his family.”
Trump's ICE / Stasi admit to a court that they deported someone to an El Salvador gulag due to an "administrative error"

Now the Trump DOJ's response to his family – who is suing to get him back *because he wasn't allowed to be deported* – is "get fucked"

The Trump administration says that it mistakenly deported an immigrant with protected status but that courts are powerless to order his return.

+1 for "tapped".
Pete Hegseth never should have been tapped for this job. It's too important.

He should be fired immediately.

2017: So livid is then-Rep Todd Rokita that he co-sponsors Matt Gaetz's HRes477, a blistering demand for a special counsel for Hillary Clinton's "mishandling of classified data and use of an unauthorized email server."

Like much of Todd, his position on secure data has softened since then.

This Hegseth thing is the biggest scandal since Todd Rokita accidentally texted @adamwren.bsky.social his Arby's order.
