It’s only the 8th day of the year and there is no way I can sustain this level of cortisol increase over the next 357. My fight-or-flight response is the only thing I’ve truly perfected at 40.

Am I actively fighting a bear or just responding to a work email? My adrenaline knows not.

I played Minecraft with my kids for the first time this weekend and they were so pumped. It’s a good reminder for me to continue to show interest in the things they think are important, even if that means I have to head to the virtual mines.
