One thing I’ve noticed in my own life and work - people don’t always realize how much thought + care goes into a single line of dialogue. The curtains are never just blue
I used to think that the "the writer wrote that the curtains blue because they were blue" discourse was the invention of highschool kids, created out of frustration with being made to analyse literature they didn't care for. Realising that adults also actually believe that was brain destroying.

I'm training myself to use Bluesky little by little. Every time FB unnecessarily pauses my music, I switch apps. It's Pavlovian. It's petty. It's motivated by hate and irritation. It might not set the world on fire, but Zucc will not stand between me and my tunes.

Holy crap, I don't know who Erin Wagoner is, but she wrote the HELL out of this new episode of Severance ("Attila"). Every character had their own "holy shit" moment, and the theming of the thorny nature of infidelity and SA when it comes to severance was really approached well.
