Did you ever stop to think: “why do we know that these Thor’s hammer thingys that only vaguely resemble actual hammers are in fact hammers?” Well, about six years ago this 10th century Thor’s hammer amulet was found on Lolland bearing the runic inscription: “I AM A HAMMER”.
