AI voice clones have hit the White House AGAIN, now impersonating the Secretary of State to other Gov officials to try to steal secrets/access.
Here is a video of me live demoing how quick (2 min) and easy it is to clone a voice to hack and how to catch AI voice clone attacks in action!

Putting on the new pair of glasses is like being gifted with super powers. All those details you forgot about. Textures, sharpness .. dirty 😱

I treated myself to a #SteamDeck. So far, I'm very happy with it.
My purchase has especially paid off for Steam, as I've bought more games in the last few months than in most years before. The UX is nice and makes browsing the catalogue and your lib fun.

The Simpsons .. apparently the character Maude Flanders (spouse of Ned Flanders) had to die, because her voice actress demanded a pay increase.

Fox declined, Maggie Roswell left. They later found an arrangement, but the damage was done. Source:

It was all due to some behind-the-scenes problems.

Yep, we have been impacted more than once. Luckily we never had the need for a timely deployment. Otherwise it's time to rediscover deployment from localhost 😅
GitHub was down, hard, for an hour.

These kinds of outages are increasingly unacceptable: a company’s code repo is increasingly treated as infra. Repo down —> no deploys possible (even to resolve outages!)

GitHub doesn’t have infra-level reliability tho, ignoring this reality.

I had the pleasure of reading it live. It was delightful 😂
4 yrs ago today, a family member managed a truly spectacular own goal, splintered his domestic bliss, & in the process, united the world for a day.

On popular request, I shall now recreate the livetweet thread from that day

So gather around children, for this is the tale of The Rice Truck Saga
