The figure was focusing on the COVID contrarian ecosystem. While both of them promote ideas and products that are not well supported by science, I don’t recall either being vocal about COVID specifically.

Reminds me of this figure I made back over the summer. Some day Stanford will need to acknowledge the outsized role our campus has played in the promotion of pseudoscience & anti-science bias.

100%. Same is true of Bhattacharya and Prasad. They were well known in academic circles beforehand, but few laypersons had any idea who they were.

This is an unpopular opinion in the US, but I honestly think that the politicalization of public health during the pandemic - driven by both sides, including the excessive endorsement of mitigation strategies - created the political climate that ultimately allowed Trump's return.

I so appreciate this. This graph has always annoyed me in part because it just feels too extreme to be true, and in part because since its popularity on all sides of the healthcare debate makes it impossible to question without people getting angry at you.

Musk didn’t kill these people on his own. People in the administration empowered him, Trump most of all. And some 20 year old DOGE bros aided in this as well. These ~400,000 dead children are also on all of them, and the world should not let them forget it.

Maybe your film addresses this, but Musk didn’t kill these people on his own. People in the administration, Trump most of all, empowered him. And some 20 year old DOGE bros aided in this as well. These ~400,000 dead children are on them as much as Musk, and the world should not let them forget it.

Re: RFK, although he had done countless terrible even horrific things, when I use the word “evil” to describe a person I reserve it for someone who has the full capacity to understand the consequences of their horrific actions. I don’t think he does. The same for Trump himself.

Congressman, I heard you speak at a town hall at MV High School last spring. You said the public should trust the legal process when dealing w Trump’s lawlessness before taking dramatic measures.
With Trump unambiguously ignoring the courts, are you & Dems now prepared to take more drastic action?
