I saw a brief clip of this performance and it was great. Had no idea the whole show was airing tonight (and also available later via PBS's app and website.)

I'm glad you mentioned it; I'll add it to my watchlist!

With all the troubles in the world (and on my timeline) this is one of the most terrifying things I've seen lately.

I can't think of a single significant Anonymous leak in the last decade plus. I'm also surprised we don't see more hacktavism, especially after reporting that the FBI's Epstein database was pretty accessible internally to over a thousand agents. Lots of attack vectors with that many users.

Let's hope we get to see him pay homage to Sideshow Bob's next line.

How the hell do you monetize something like this? Do you have to pay a subscription to keep access to grandma?

Do you pay an upfront fee to make your family into digital puppets?

Does the company keep records of the personal things you've said to its server?

Why would you want this in your life?

That's great news! Congrats, Claire!

It's that, someone trying to stir the pot at the studio, or an exec who is hung up on this detail to the frustration of others.

No professional screenwriter worth their salt will be seriously stumped in regards to resurrecting James Bond. My Bluesky feed this morning is a cavalcade of pitches!

Dammit, I messed up the film count -- this will be the 26th official film, not the 27th. Got my wires crossed with the total number of films versus just the EON titles.

What I would give for a short timed edit button.

I do think it would be a mistake to embrace the oft-mentioned fan theory that "James Bond" is a code name passed between different people.

They're just pulpy fun. Don't overthink them.

One thing I love about the Bond films is their ability to capture cinematic, cultural, and fashion trends over time. Each film reflects when it was made.

I understand the desire for a period entry in the franchise, but I worry about nostalgia overwhelming the film and losing the feel of the moment

Congrats, Mike!

The first looks exposed enough that I'd try wetting the area, cutting a line in the screw head with a Dremel / rotary cutter, and unscrewing with a flathead.

The second looks tough -- I'd hit with penetrating oil and try the extractor bit again.

Full disclosure: I am not a great carpenter.

It's in the sequel -- "The Order of the Black Eagle"

I thought the latest episode was easily the best -- the tension and themes are coming together and feel unique as opposed to yet another rehash of the first two films (which are among my favorites.) Some great expansion of the world, especially with the new creatures.

Very curious where it is going

This is incredible, Lindsay. Great work on both the fundraising and the video itself!
