Just another Twitter refugee looking for what we had there once upon a time. It's not going to be Mastodon or Post.News and probably not Threads, so let's see if we can't make this our home.
Yeah, NYM true to form is being as generous here as possible.

I’d have led with the puppy.

Basically this.
I always get a kick out of the NYT Defense Squad trotting out harrumphing takes about how serious journalists don't report on mere speculation, blow things out of proportion, dig into their colleagues' email, etc etc

Hey, how’s your thread here square with this? www.politico.com/blogs/media/...

Same with big donors like Musk and the big PACs. You can’t win with all of the microphones shrieking about how you’re going to kill everyone all the time. You’ve got to be aggressive, but you’ve got to be strategic. We need to destroy the elite power structure first.
something I've been thinking about if/when we retake power is we're really going to need to shock & awe the elites with accountability. hit em hard and fast. gotta break the entire system and don't give it time to regroup.
Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

Essentially knock out the communication/propaganda system to disable their ability to control the narrative and only then go after low level people. The opposite of a roll up.

Soon-Shiong, Murdoch, Bezos, Ellison, Dash, all of them certainly have tax/finance exposure that they can be crucified for.

That’s the thing, though. Those people are very loud.

If the emails yesterday demonstrate anything, it’s that judicial blitzkrieg against that bipartisan collection of elites is the only way.

The low level ICE guys can wait. Hit the politicians, donors, and legacy media owners first.

Run a relentlessly negative campaign about who is hurting them and how you’re going to hurt them, then when you win, hurt them and make a big show about how you hurt them.

If you want the FDR era back, that’s how you get there, not tax advantaged savings accounts in disadvantaged neighborhoods.

As a natural happy warrior, I’m not thrilled with this. I’d rather be zeroing in on policy details, planning nudges, min-maxing the rising tide that lifts all boats, etc. That’s my happy place.

But it’s not where the very angry American people are today, and we have to go to where they’re at.

Gamer brained suggestion: Fontaineism.

Sure, but it’s definitely a well-timed release in light of this.
BIG NEWS: Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva will finally be sworn in as a member of Congress tomorrow.

She is likely to be the 218th vote on the Epstein discharge petition, which would force a full vote to release the Epstein files in their entirety.
