Notice what #MAHA and #RFKJr aren't talking about? #Tobacco. Big Tobacco is using this information vacuum to claim nicotine is misunderstood and has benefits. We've seen this story before and it ends badly. My take: se2changeforgood.com/2025/08/18/n... #publichealth

In a study involving mice exposed to COVID-19, researchers found the respiratory infections triggered dormant cancer cells to wake up, setting the stage for new tumors.

Well played, as usual.
As a political reporter, I haven’t run into that problem. All the clowns I cover talk.
My dad was a morning TV anchor in S.F. and he was interviewing a visiting circus clown in studio. Right before interview started, clown informed him that clowns aren't allowed to talk. Blame the producer, amirite?

I think 250 dead children is a lot. I guess the adjectives don't really matter. Is 250 dead kids a lot or not?
One ACIP member referred to the 2024-2025 flu season’s death toll among children as relatively “modest.” In reality, the toll, which now stands at 250, is the highest single-year tally of pediatric deaths due to flu since the 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic.

Bad but also kind of amazing?

Breathtaking that #RFKJr doesn't know that smoking is the #1 cause of preventable death in the U.S. Stunning that he didn't mention tobacco in his #MAHA report. This is not someone who is serious about #publichealth. smh
