A word of tremendous appreciation for the universities and graduate programs that make submitting letters of recommendation a 2 min process (rather than a 30+ min ordeal of cutting and pasting from a letter with all the same deets). The letter writing should be the work, not submitting it. No?

Have we given too much "credit" to the pandemic for learning losses? Almost 50% of the post-pandemic decline in achievement on 8th grade NAEP was to be expected (without the pandemic!), simply using the same rate of declining achievement that began unfolding starting in 2013!

Closing rural post offices will do the same thing that closing rural schools has done: Empty out rural towns.

Why? To sell off farmland for rock bottom prices to the oligarchs. Water and mineral rights and CAFOs polluting with impunity.

It’s been the plan for decades.
