When a book arrives, it feels special: years of life, hard work,. passion.

This one feels very special, thanks to all contributors, Ivan Gaskell, Gert, and our book designer, Sigrid, who does wonders with chiaroscuro.

Last but not least, it feels special, because, well, it's about #Rembrandt!

In the 18th century the University of #Göttingen was given a set of #Rembrandt prints--a wonderful treasure!
We've selected 33 for a special exhibition.
On show is an encounter between Rembrandt's fabulous engraving techniques and the wonders of modern scan/print technology.
Doors open: 13 November.

This is exactly the point. The Commission played its cards terribly but only because this is what members states pushed it to do, with neither demonstrating vision of a strong and united Europe and the courage to defend it
