Gosh, I can't help but envy artists sometimes. In less than a week they're able to put some meaningful work together, meanwhile I can easily spend several weeks fixing and debugging stuff while having nothing to show... 😅
... I wonder if artists ever feel any kind of envy towards gamedevs, heh... 😆

Gosh, I can't help but envy artists sometimes. In less than a week they're able to put some meaningful work together, meanwhile I can easily spend several weeks fixing and debugging stuff while having nothing to show... 😅

Since video game companies keep lying about usage of gen AI, I think this should be brought up again.
I use it on my store page, and it's easy to see at a quick glance on the right hand sidebar.

Okay, so a team member spoke to me over discord, and...
The only conclusion we could come to... Is that my hardware was acting faulty
But like, now I'm at a crossroads; there's nothing to fix on the engine, but do I still wanna implement a feature that's acting a little faulty to my equipment? 😐

One last statement about my ladder debacle (for now, at least until I hear back about that bug report):
I think I'm just gonna go forward with the assumption that ladder-jumping wont even be a thing for this project. At the end of the day, what I'm making is an adventure game, not a platformer

Working on a teleport effect. The idea is that after selecting a character...
- they'll teleport off screen
- the screen fades to the map
- the character teleports onto the map
This is also how they'll change locations during runs.
