People waking up from a year+ coma would be clueless about all the slop that happened this year
Merriam-Webster’s human editors have chosen ‘slop’ as the 2025 Word of the Year.

Buy their own... From the same insurance companies he says are ripping off people...
Trump: "THE ONLY HEALTHCARE I'LL SUPPORT OR APPROVE IS SENDING MONEY DIRECTLY BACK TO THE PEOPLE W/ NOTHING GOING TO THE BIG, FAT, RICH INSURANCE COMPANIES, WHO HAVE RIPPED OFF AMERICA LONG ENOUGH. THE PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO NEGOTIATE & BUY THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, INSURANCE. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!"

Angus King: "This initial strategy didn't work. And now we have one. We're gonna have a guaranteed vote on the ACA, and it may not succeed. I grant that. But a reasonable chance -- 10, 20, 30% -- is a lot better than 0% which is where we were."

So she's got commitments from the people that always go back on their word that they will vote for it, that the house will swear in the new Democrat and vote for it (along with the files) and that the president will sign it... suuuuuuure
Shaheen: So let me be clear. No one in the senate chamber wants to extend the ACA tax credits more than I do.

Will the voters remember next November?
Dems have spent the past two months saying they're fighting to address the crisis of spiking healthcare costs and now they're caving for a deal that does nothing to address healthcare costs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I never thought that the possibility of not being able to fly out of Reagan is the thing that would push them to accept nothing in return. Only the people loose

The same administration that ignores the law and court orders to terrorize and kill people without any due process is also saying they're powerless to use the emergency money in an emergency to feed people. Their crimes against humanity should not go unpunished.

This is what was wanted...

When single payer was proposed, the answer was no

Individual mandate, no

Now on government subsidies, also no

In this country, healthcare is for the rich unless we all pool together. This is what happens when you strip away at what would make it affordable.

There is no world in which it is normal for the president to publicly call upon his attorney general to hurry up and prosecute his political foes. It’s like the Watergate tapes but posted on social media. Let’s get a grip on what’s happening here.

This, also include their assets while at it
A worker making $50,000 a year contributes to Social Security on 100% of their income.

A CEO making $20 million a year contributes to Social Security on less than 1% of their income.

Instead of raising the retirement age, we should scrap the Social Security tax cap.
BREAKING: Trump's head of Social Security says raising the retirement age "will be considered."

That's a betrayal of Trump's campaign promise to protect Social Security.
