Living that unique moment of existence that really f*cks with jkrowling's mind. Trans man bleeding. Oh my! It's what happens when it takes months to get my T from the pharmacy. It's not out of stock or banned (yet), but it's also not in my hands? Idk. Living as trans under fascism. #transman #queer

@theferocity.bsky.social I listened to the episode of #vibecheckpod with your sharing of Caesar's passing. I was heartbroken for you. The love you hold for that precious fur baby is priceless. Thank you for sharing your love.

Finished We Survived the Night by Julian Brave NoiseCat. Phenomenal text exploring the cultural and historical relevance of the indigenous Nations. Coyote lineages, parental figures present and absent, and current state of indigenous communities.

Started listening to Vibe Check pod, from the beginning. Every time @theferocity.bsky.social recommends a book, I immediately place that book on my Libby app hold shelf. Grateful for a library system that has these incredibly eye opening texts.

Minutes ago today the Trump regime abruptly cancelled citizenship ceremonies for several immigrants in Boston.

THEY CANCELLED CITIZENSHIP CEREMONIES.

These immigrants followed every rule & did everything right—Trump banned them anyway. All are from Black & brown majority nations.

This Is Fascism.

Not acknowledging World AIDS Day and engaging in COVID revisionism are straight from the eugenics playbook. One of the most effective ways of making people invisible is by erasing their history.

I have been changed for good."

Trump’s comments are vile. I am just as angry at the media outlets that bothsided Jamal’s murder, wrote puff pieces for MBS (Atlantic).

And, the Washington Post opinion page that dismantled the platform that Jamal wrote for, ended the fellowship in his name, and purged its human rights writers.

Alice Wong changes the way I viewed disability at large, and my disabled body specifically. Wong's memoir, The Year of the Tiger is the first audiobook that radically transformed what I knew an audiobook should be. May her tireless advocacy sustain the next generation of disabled activists

The single most important behavioral pattern I created is reading picture books. This one routine is the foundational skill in my mental health toolbox. As a person with a visual disability, the highest reading level I can consistently physically read is picture books. Everything else must be audio

We often say that death is the great unifier as it’s the one thing that we all have in common. But sometimes, I look around and wonder if even the after-life is segregated.”
