Heard this one on a stream, not the first I heard it and I very much do enjoy it when I do hear it, I just never looked farther into it, so I guess I'm doing a dive on this artist today.

Speaking of Scene of Action, he did a collab with deadmau5 a while back, and it's pretty dang good. It's probably not what you'd expect from a deadmau5 song.

I've had to suffer through it a few times, it's so fake, not like AI fake, but like the old meaning of calling some acting fake.

Yup, that's raking, IIRC it was initially an arcade mashing technique, the only game I knew of that used it prior to Dread was LttP for hovering, so I a lot of times called it a hover mash. Since then a few other games picked it up such as SM for arm pumping, or as they call it Zohdin pumping.

But my normal mashing is like 8-9 Hz, and with this method I can get up to like 15 Hz on a single button. The biggest upside in speed for me is that one motion can be 2 button presses (or more with more fingers) vs. 2 motions for 1 button press with standard mashing.

I used a variation of this mashing method, it's much less stress on the hand/wrist, but slightly more on the elbow and shoulder. Since I was going over the Y and B buttons I had the controller turned and my palm over the shoulder buttons. Granted, it still put a lot of pressure on the nails.

Pulled out all the stops to get this PB (I kept Confidence on for the final boss, taking double damage every hit). DLC comes out tomorrow so next stream may be all casual.

If the trend continues, my best time to stream will be after dinner, which sucks because I'm so burnt out after I cook.

I don't know, it's really stupid and I can definitely see banning it, but its also so goofy it might be worth keeping in, I could easily see getting laughs at a marathon event, like oh I'm just going to take a quick water break here and then do a spit-take when Daitengu starts talking.

I'll keep an eye on it a bit, but knowing how hard it is to deal with ISPs, I may just need to find a time when the internet is stable consistently.
