Pulled out all the stops to get this PB (I kept Confidence on for the final boss, taking double damage every hit). DLC comes out tomorrow so next stream may be all casual.

Internet was even less cooperative today than it was yesterday, but I managed to get a biiig PB, still room for improvement though so I will continue on a bit.

Here's what I've been up to.
Finished the game, took me a bit under 7 hours with breaks. I can now say that I highly recommend the game. The OST alone made me want to play, but the gameplay is great on its own as well. Also the difficulty balancing is refreshing after so many games with a ridiculous spike on the final boss.

It's always so draining when you have a monster pace going, and then have an over 4 minute meltdown to one of the easier segments. Oh well, I'll beat it again soon.

Bandage off, cone on, diagnosis in, she had a cancerous growth in her toe, but it was completely removed. She's recovering and dealing with the situation pretty well, but probably can't wait to go back on full walks again.

New bandage, she's doing great! Might get some offline speedrun practice in since I don't need to keep as close an eye on her.

This led me to look for other places, and my next target was the Drowned Abbey, but with a high jump. Unfortunately the high jump didn't keep the speed, but that didn't stop me from looking elsewhere and I found a smaller skip, where I realized that the speed kept even after landing.

After many runs, yesterday I found that a glide keeps the speed. I realized it could be used to skip the bell puzzle in the Silenced Cathedral, so I went to try it out. I still struggled a lot to even get it to work, until tried doing it towards the camera instead of away and lo and behold I got it.

Sometimes when you're too used to speedruns, you forget some simple trick actually skips a trigger for an achievement.
