I’m still hopeful. Just not sure how much damage will be inflicted in the meantime.
If we come out the other side of this hostile, nightmare chapter with our ability to recognize wrong from right, false from true, and our commitment to decency, kindness, democracy, the rule of law and the Constitution intact—then we can begin to create a positive future again.

Scientist positions and programs at the EPA were negatively affected during the first Trump administration. Unless the agency mission sees a friend in Lee Zeldin, the devastation to the environmental programs and vulnerable communities will be much worse this time.
