Let’s ask the constant liar what he saw! The answer may surprise you
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), to reporters, after viewing video footage of the U.S. strikes on alleged drug boats in the Caribbean on Sept. 2:

"Righteous strikes." "Entirely lawful."

God, I’m really upset how much hate I know Starfleet Academy is going to get. It’s Star Trek made for the CW-style crowd, which is PERFECTLY FINE. But because it’s not intended as mass audience aimed mainly at boomer dudes, it’s gonna face so much vitriol. Especially those kid actors. Angers me.

Star Trek fans are complaining before the show has even come out.

So far that means it’s looking good for the series
🚨 BREAKING - New Star Trek: #StarfleetAcademy Poster!

I’ve said for a while that I don’t think bringing back big video stores is a viable option, but that libraries should build robust video store sections. Love to see this! Go support your local library! www.404media.co/the-last-vid...
The Last Video Rental Store Is Your Public Library
Audio-visual librarians are quietly amassing large physical media collections amid the IP disputes threatening select availability.

This age of media giants simply not giving a shit really sucks
you know I had to do this

Reason 264789 why I stress the importance of physical media. Streaming services are constantly getting worse and expensive at an alarming rate.

It’s also why you should use your local libraries. They usually have movie/tv sections where you can check out shows without relying on streaming
HBOMax has started showing a 'remastered' 4K Mad Men and they’ve messed things up so during Roger’s oyster vomit scene you can now see the crew men with the vomit hose on the right

I do actually believe Mike Johnson is incapable of learning anything
RAJU: If defenseless survivors were killed, would that constitute a violation of the laws of war?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not going to prejudge any of that. I was pretty busy yesterday. I didn't follow a lot of the news.

It’s a little annoying that I have a reputation on our podcast as being a bit of a hater when I really enjoy the vast majority of movies I see.

Like the last 5 new movies I’ve seen have all been bangers.

Also, if you *can* see Rental Family and Wake Up Dead Man in theaters then GO

Just give me a new Benoit Blanc movie and I’m a happy guy.

#wakeupdeadman rules! Thanks @rianjohnson.bsky.social!

Even if they drug traffickers (IF doing all the heavy lifting in the fucking universe there), the punishment for that offense IS NOT EXECUTION
Cotton on Trump's boat strikes: "Use common sense. If any of these had been boats full of fisherman or refugees, CNN would've already been on the ground & interviewed all their families & told their stories. We can be confident all of these strikes have been against cartel-based drug traffickers."

I actually like Kirk’s death scene. I think the common sentiment that he should’ve died on his bridge is fanfiction nonsense

An AI technology that can determine your success based on your appearance?

I can see any potential 100% possible racial and sexist problems coming from that! Great job, tech bros!
Researchers are now saying that AI can find correlations between facial characteristics and success on the job.

The Economist says that corporations would have a “strong incentive” to deploy this technology when looking at applicants.

Did Oz Perkins direct like 20 movies in a one month period or something?

“You see kids, back in the day you used to pay to watch movies and shows other people made. Now you pay WAY MORE to sit there and type in 70k prompts to get a 15second video that’s kinda like what you want to watch. It’s so much better!”

- Something nobody will ever say
Bob Iger says Disney+ will soon have AI-generated short form content from users.

This is the platform that wants you to pay $189.99 per year.

Just a vile, lying sack of shit
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

If this number were true, it would amount to about ~0.4% of 42 million recipients.
Brooke Rollins: "SNAP is a broken program. SNAP is full of corruption. We found 186,000 dead people."
