The real is political test of MAGA/MUSK will be when they attempt budget cuts that affect millions of Americans. Watch GOP Congress members squirm. If cuts can’t be made to those programs then there will be little progress on budget reduction. Easy to cut foreign aide.

If Dems want to get back in the game they must first stop prioritizing transgender issues and pushing CRT. Those issues have a place in politics but Dems are now defined by these issues. Most Americans are clearly on the opposite side.

With regard to neurologically impaired people in public office, we might do better focusing on cognitive evaluation rather than term limits or mandatory retirement ages.
Some people remain fully compos mentis into their 90s. Others begin to manifest impairment in their 50s.
