Yes, after one talk I gave a few years ago, Valerie Reyna came up and we chatted for quite a bit :). That was a few years before that study with the trial-unique outcomes.

Ah, I now see the second part of your question. Even more reason to see how that funding changes with age.
An on-going study is varying the number of trials to see where memories shift from episodic to gist. I should do a follow-up of that and vary age. :)

All participants in the work I presented were young adults. Most studies were with undergrads, some were online samples.
I've done some work on aging and extending these tasks to older adults is a future plan.
