The problem is you assume they want to "engage and have reals discussions on real issues." They don't. When confronted with facts, data, science, actual laws, and the like, they resort to spewing lies, disinformation and hate.

The fires in LA are tragic but I do appreciate that my timeline and discovered content has useful information and accounts of the disaster rather then some goofball claiming it’s a democratic plot or space lasers.
