Good night sweet Prince of Darkness. Glad to have seen Sabbath back in 2016. There was multiple mosh pits around fires people started, tortillas probably stolen from a food vendor flying around, I had a couple beers in me and it was a great time. Ozzy rocked hard then, and until the very end, RIP.

Ok, I think I might finally switch DAWs. I’ve been an avid Reason user for almost 20 years now but it’s painfully limited when it comes to MIDI. I use mostly outboard gear/synths that I sequence ITB, so I don’t care too much about stock plugins. Who has the best, most flexible MIDI implementation?

I’m really trying to avoid Meta, but man, if feels like Bluesky makes it so hard to find interesting posts. I gotta give it to Threads, it’s really good at putting things in my timeline that I enjoy. #musicsky is just a bunch of boring reposts of songs. Who do you following for interesting posts?

So cool to know soon enough I’ll have a game cart with my own music on it!

Hot take: shimmer reverbs sound awful and fake. Wild to me people pay so much money to sound like generic worship music. Gimme my cheap Alesis reverbs any day of the week.

The Super MIDI Pak Collab album will be released Friday, July 11th at 3PM EDT. All tracks play natively on the SNES and we're distributing a ROM and SPCs. We're doing a listening party at that time on YouTube, link in the replies!

PSA: if you love music, listen to your local college radio station. You won’t find DJ’s who truly care about the music more anywhere else. You won’t like everything, but when you find gold, it’s better than hearing “Take Me On” for the 10,000th time.
