A reread for book club and one of my favourites
Has everyone's book club chosen Frankenstein this month?

For years I've wanted to read All Quiet on the Western Front during Remembrance day and finally I'm reading this devastating novel

It's hard to read but also hard to turn away from knowing what all those innocent boys and men went through

This has sat unread on my shelves for far too long
The mood for it has finally overtaken me
Have you read it?

The Green surge is very real.

The danger for Labour?

Their remaining support stop thinking that the Greens can’t win locally, and end up seeing them as the best bet to defeat the Tories and Reform.

Of all the amazing bookish choices I've been making this year, the best one might just be picking up Nights at the Circus by Angela Carter...

I'm completely in love!!!

Lili is Crying by Helene Bessette is a hidden gem of a book
The unique writing style and prose are exceptional and the rhythm, the repetition, the way it flows feels like it's made to be read aloud
Exploring a toxic/enmeshed mother/daughter relationship had me completely gripped
