2) A provision that would have done away with gender-affirming care under Medicaid.

These are some good wins in an otherwise terrible bill. My staff and I will be fighting to remove the worst provisions from this bill up until the very end. I'll continue to update you as we get more rulings.

If the choice is between a party whose leaders don’t care if I live or die, and a party who only cares about making sure I die. It’s an easy choice at the ballot box. But don’t expect me to respect you or like you.

We don’t need to fight for the trans person there aren’t that many trans people. We don’t need to fight for the trade unionists there aren’t that many union members. We don’t need to fight for the immigrant there aren’t that many immigrants.

It says “your rights don’t matter” the median voters bank account matters more than your survival. That anyone fighting for their survival should lay down on the barbed wire so democrats os swing states can run over their corpses.

No one would say any cis person’s healthcare isn’t a kitchen table issue. Not everyone needs an abortion or contraception. But Democrats can figure out that attacking one person’s access is attacking everyone’s bodily autonomy.

This is why Dem only talking about “Kitchen Table Issues” leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It means that if a minority is being targeted it doesn’t matter because the majority isn’t affected. Trans healthcare is a kitchen table issue for millions of people.

My partner grew up in Ponca City and I lived in Norman and Owasso. We tried to stay as long as we could, but we’re never going back either.
