When I saw this tonight, it seemed so impossible that I was sure it was fake. Of course the image is AI but image and text were actually posted on The White House X account.
I don’t understand what is happening to us. We fought a war and wrote a constitution so we would never again have a king.

That account is where I personally do all my work communication—I am an editor, and most of my work contracts explicitly ban any use of Generative AI

It takes serious guts to attempt to write Sherlock Holmes successfully, but Faye does so spectacularly. What a fantastic book to finish out the year! www.goodreads.com/book/show/45...
This year’s reading was all audiobooks, and I enjoyed over 200! (Chronic illness gives you a lot of downtime, and audiobooks are how I make that bearable.) These pictures are a somewhat representative smattering of the stories.
