When I saw this tonight, it seemed so impossible that I was sure it was fake. Of course the image is AI but image and text were actually posted on The White House X account.

I don’t understand what is happening to us. We fought a war and wrote a constitution so we would never again have a king.

Apologies for sending you to the cesspool, but this is fantastic and I think it’s important to send you to the original writer.

Yikes. I'm half horrified that they're being outed by name, and half horrified that they're trying to run the treasury, and 100% wondering if they have any idea what they got themselves into. They're so young.

I think this may be the most beautiful cat I’ve ever seen.
🎤🎵And then I saw her face
Now I'm a believer
And not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I'm in love 🎼🎵

I listened to Pam speak in an interview with Tortoise Slow News. She went from "having fun" being MAGA Granny, to thinking she was a victim on January 6th, to "talking to my therapist and praying" and did a complete about face. It's one person but it still gives me hope.

I want to share my experience today with Google support, trying to get Gemini (their AI/plagiarism machine) turned off in my Google workspace account. That account is where I personally do all my work communication—I am an editor, and most of my work contracts explicitly ban any use of Generative AI

This year’s reading was all audiobooks, and I enjoyed over 200! (Chronic illness gives you a lot of downtime, and audiobooks are how I make that bearable.) These pictures are a somewhat representative smattering of the stories.
