Amador always defending 2 to 1 b’cos Almiron always too central to come back and help defend on the left. Also gives one less outlet pass for midfield which is so crowded it feels like a youth team.

Neither of these look good for Atlanta United. Someone more data aware needs to tell me what exactly this says that we are or are not doing. Are we dropping too easily when other team has the ball? Maybe something to ask Deila? Is this planned?
This could have game state effects. A team that is trailing all the time might be forced into having to win the ball back more aggressively.
You can also cross-reference this with Passes per Defensive Action (PPDA). I'm showing it here using PPDA in the Attacking 40% including out-of-play.

Not a whole lot of tariff impact on the March PPI (-0.4%/2.7%) but there is one blaring warning sign. The steel tariffs were imposed during March, and American steel mill producers used the opportunity to raise prices by 7.1%. That's exactly the effect economists would expect.

Just re-upping this. Atlanta United now 6th on goals per game in the MLS. It's the defense that needs attention.
I will live and die on the xG hill(over the course of a season, of course). Atlanta United is under-achieving almost 3 goals in 4 just games. Could have had a bunch of more points if we had finished better- payback is around the corner.
