I am a reader and writer particularly interested in short stories. My work ruminates on gender, sexuality, and their intersection in adolescence and adulthood, often involving horror elements.

Just finished Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung and absolutely loved it! It had been on my radar for a while but I hadn’t been able to get my hands on it until recently.

Now I’m going to start another collection of short stories! I’ll post a short review of Cursed Bunny on Storygraph @its_me_again_emma

I just went to my first book event and met the another short story author, Heidi Bell. I didn’t realize how bad I was at networking until the middle of our conversation.

She had to specifically ask for my last name.

Cause I didn’t tell her when she asked for my name.

I just uploaded a blog post to my site, but this time with a little blurb from a short story I've been reediting and am looking for a publication to home it. I'm also thinking of adding a "Free Selected Works" section to my site

So, I'm thinking my author blog is where I'll upload lengthier but informal posts, and I'll use this platform to upload shorter things, like creative writing tips? Books I've been reading? Document writing/reading challenges for myself? Document reading/writing events I attend? Storygraph charts?

Hi!!! So this is suuuuuper late, but I uploaded my first blog post on my website detailing my thoughts before beginning to outline my next project. It's going to be about a young boy who befriends the monster under his bed and what he learns through that bond.
