We did the Norwegian fjords in August and it was incredible! You must do the skylift in Olden. Go direct through Olden Adventures. There are other wheelchair accessible excursions to do too. DM me if you want to ask anything! We did P&O Iona.

If you don't enjoy hunting for conkers, or if you don't get excited about opening up a conker like it's giving birth, or you don't go into a little trance when you feel one that's got a really smooth flat edge...well, we can't be friends.

Back from the Norwegian Fjords. What a stunning place. Highly recommend if you're considering it.

Read this in one sitting. This should be compulsory reading for anyone in education, and in fact for everyone. Just incredible.

EVERYBODY LISTEN UP. THIS TOASTIE MAKER HAS REMOVABLE PLATES TO PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. THIS IS MY FAVOURITE PRESENT AND THIS IS WHY THE HUSBAND DOES NOT BUY ME PERFUME AND PANDORA. ❤️ #hesakeeper

In #MathsToday, we did finding roots and the turning point of a quadratic graph. I did not giggle or make ANY comment, so I think, at the age of 37, I may have finally matured.

@1stclassmaths.bsky.social casually putting these names into a question is giving me joy. 💃🎺

I need more hours in the day for this. This is like making a ringtone in the 2000s but level 100.

Legend from #Gladiators smirking activates the same feelings as Tom Holland doing Umbrella.

In #mathstoday I had to summon all my mental strength and patience to convince year 9 students that this was a rectangle and not a square. 🙈🙈

They are dead and do not care any more 😆

Can you imagine my absolute horror when the oven clock ticked over from 23:59 to this at midnight last night?

Me, doing all the jobs I said I'd do over half term at 5pm on Sunday evening.

Just a reminder for anyone who hasn't had a toastie phase in a while.

I still say centimetres squared, but every time I say it, I hate myself a bit.

I'm not sure if I have any followers in #Thirsk but please keep an eye out for my amazing neighbour and report anything you see or hear about. She hasn't taken phone or money and as you can imagine her friends and family are worried sick 😔

In #Mathstoday, I was not ashamed of coming up with this way to remember the definition of perimeter 😆

Enjoyed this as well. Same question posted within 5 seconds of each other. Two different answers, both of which are wrong.

Not this week.

In #MathsToday I used the bottom bar model to show year 7s how to find 2/5 of 35 instead of the top model that I've been using for years. Such a simple tweak but now I'm kicking myself for not making the change sooner.

A student left this message on her mini whiteboard in #Mathstoday ❤️ It was the final intervention session after 4 weeks of really getting to grips with place value and decimals. Spoiler: she did leave as it was lunchtime.
