Exclusive: Neck guards will be mandatory for ice hockey players at the 2026 Winter Olympics following the death of Adam Johnson.

It will be the first time many NHL and Elite League players have worn them, as they are not mandatory in those leagues.

Matt was a lovely bloke who really cared about his players, I don't know anyone who covered women's football in England who's ever had a bad word to say about him. Women's football is poorer for his passing.
