After many years of trying to combine my 2 passions, art 🎨 and science 👩‍🔬, into something meaningful, i have created an educational #ChildrensBook! 📚

✨ Meet The Rimba🦧, a gentle, lyrical tale about a wise orangutan guardian spirit who protects her rainforest home and the creatures who depend on it.

I have published a childrens book! 📚🦧

'The Rimba' is a lyrical tale about the rainforest’s guardian spirit, a wise orangutan named Rimba, who rises to protect her home and the creatures within it, from the impacts of deforestation for palm oil. 🌴

Are you also sick of seeing a poster full of text and 6 blue rectangles around it at a conference? 🙄

If you know someone who could benefit from professional scientific illustration for figures, presentations, and posters, please like, share, or tag them!

New article by my PhD advisor Erica Cartmill that does a fantastic job summarizing our lab's research on playful teasing in great apes! I bet you'll be ape-solutley tickled to read it (ok sorry I had to): www.scientificamerican.com/article/grea...
