I read an article/watched a video/saw a thread a few weeks ago about the thickness of host airway secretions and the transmissibility of pathogens in exhaled air. Poor hydration and stickier secretions meant higher risk of transmission. Can’t find it now.

Our chronic illness community has lost another member - Prof Gemma Carey has passed away.
Gemma was a fierce advocate for long covid and chronic illness - and an incredibly talented writer.
