Look, buggs, if you're out of the country, you're overseas. I'm not going to stop saying it. "I'm only in Mexico??" You crossed The Rio Grande to get there. Enjoy your trip overseas.

#spoilers for Borderlands 4.

Quent: "The bar's close by..."

The way I came alive when I realized they were talking about my boyo. The vending machines were a nice touch, but Moxxie's... *chef's kiss*

I hit my husband with "I think the societal ramifications of the concrete knowledge of the existence of aliens would be so immense that it justifies the thought of a government coverup among our world leaders" out of the blue last night and now I'm the conspiracy aunt at parties.

Instead of editing photos I'm dancing to instagram reels in my living room with my phone in one hand and a beer in the other and Just This Once Rose, instead of needing an adult I AM the adult.

I've started journaling via haikus and it's nice because I have to be so intentional about word choice. It really makes me think about and process what I'm writing about.

Straight up played and sang along with old Jonas Brothers music with my mom last week. I turned 31 in May. Also Fall Out Boy's first 6 or 7 albums were awesome and I will not debate this (I haven't listened to much past Mania).

Let yourself be happy.

Spent time in downtown Charlottesville with my mom today. Many things have changed over 20 years, but it's as recognizable and comforting as ever. I needed it.
