My next buddy read 'n' watch, starting Friday. I've never read it or seen the movie. It's one of my best friend's favorite movies ever, and she only recently learned of the book. Planning on finishing my bookmark before we start ("Higher Love Bookmark" by Draiguna: www.draiguna.com/2020/02/high...).

All of the pens at work disappear and I'm tired of hunting them down, so my compromise is a little #crochet pen harness so I can attach my own pens to my belt loop. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Feel like sh*t today because I didn't get enough sleep so I'm doing my nails. Holo Taco in "Hi-Def" with Super Glossy Taco for topcoat. May add an effect topper after my other hand dries fully.

Hobbii We ❤️ Yarn recycled cotton, 3/Light with 4mm hook. Seed stitch. It split a lot while using an acrylic hook that was sharp; less so when I switched to metal.

I'm buddy-reading Jurassic Park and my friend and I are in agreement that Sam Neill should have worn more Book Grant outfits. I think the Hawai'ian shirts would've been more fun than Indiana Jones lite.

Found a young garter snake under a rock while I was out weeding. It seemed very sleepy. At one point I picked it up with my hand to put it on the shovel and relocate it, since we want them to leave their current nesting spot under our walkway.

One of my favorite, most-used crochet makes: a towel/trivet/washcloth made from leftover Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn that I didn't know what else to do with. I have used it to clean windows and dry dishes (separately). Love this thing.

Dropped my trowel on my toe because the hanging twine broke so I will not be going anywhere today. Broke out the medical glue.

Good morning to this lil friend. When I put food out, I know who's going to eat it. Also, she doesn't seem to mind sharing with the birds. I just have to make sure I give them all enough warning so they can get to the fence before I let the dogs out.

I don't plan to be awake at 2:56 a.m. to get a photo of the eclipse, but here's a photo of the moon at 11:00 p.m. It's slightly blurry because I am bad at manually focusing my camera at night, it's enlarged from a 200mm lens, and I didn't want to oversharpen it.

Year 2 of my pumpkin attempts. I'm bringing them in at night if it gets below 45, and I'm hoping they're the blue ones!
