I've seen many say "so what if people reject vaccines, refuse to wear a mask, or drink raw milk, it's Darwinism."

Well, the risk of viruses mutating into more deadly forms increases when they are allowed to spread. Individuals ignoring public health practices harms everyone.

The United States is experiencing a measles outbreak, with 277 cases reported in 32 jurisdictions as of November 7, 2024. This is more than triple the number of cases reported in 2023, and there have been 16 outbreaks so far in 2024.

New platform, re-sharing our recent sex differences in cardiogenic shock SRMA:

-Women are ⬆️ likely to die than men (35% unadjusted, 10% adjusted for comorbidities)
-Women ⬇️ less likely to recieve mechanical support

In a world of misinformation, understanding who has credentials is important. This paper investigates training backgrounds and scope of practice of self-proclaimed “cosmetic surgeons” practicing the full gamut of plastic and reconstructive surgery with minimal training. #plasticsurgery #medsky
