Am I live-skeeting church? I guess so. Listen, I have ADHD. I can't sit at the computer and NOT do this.

OMG the priest is having all the oblates stand for Religious Life Sunday! Hooray!

Our priest for the day is calling this "The Feast of the Annual Meeting", lol. I wish Religious Life Sunday didn't overlap with this day when we have one combined service immediately followed by the Annual Meeting, with no time or attention for an adult forum on Religious Life. How to do both?

I sure wish we weren’t between priests. It would be some kind of comfort to have a vigil to attend at our church. Life on an island makes it challenging to get to any of the churches that might be holding one.

Hello! I thought the name seemed familar!

In addition to "principal service" it says the RCL should be used for "all public services" on Sundays or major holy days, unless there's more than one service, in which case you can use the office readings. I guess these probably don't count as major holy days, given that they aren't in the BCP.

I hadn't seen them either but was alerted to it via discussion here the last time I was responsible for planning the propers for Evensong. Several clergy pointed me to p. 888 in the BCP "Concerning the Lectionary", recommending I use the Lectionary readings for holy days in this case.

I think I'm correct in remembering that per the rubrics in the BCP, the main lectionary/Eucharistic readings for Sundays and Holy Days should always be used at the principal service of the day, even if it's an Office. There's no mention in the BCP of special readings for weekdays in Lent though? 📕
