My mother made me a hand-tied flower quilt when I was a baby. She's gone, now, and I can still see how her hands would have tied each of those beautiful knots; the stitches that she made with love for me. What a beautiful gift for your child. 💛

I miss you too! But to be honest I'm not here much... Bluesky ended up heading towards fascism too, so I'm keeping to Mastodon mostly, which I LOVE!! It's a fabulous community, and easier to use. Maybe see you there? Or in person -- haha!

Sure I'd love that! I've written a whole novel on this concept, but haven't put any of it online, because I want to publish it. I figured a few shorter essays/podcasts would be a good intro and teaser for the novel. But it's a long way off because I can't promote myself, so need to find a publisher.
