My mother made me a hand-tied flower quilt when I was a baby. She's gone, now, and I can still see how her hands would have tied each of those beautiful knots; the stitches that she made with love for me. What a beautiful gift for your child. 💛

All finished the thrushes window! Of course, being translucent, it will look spectacular from inside on a sunny day, but this is the view seen most often as people walk by outside. Done with Pēbēo Vitrail glass paints.

Working on these three thrushes (Varied & Swanson's). The window is salvaged from our local community hall. My mother taught preschool there for many years, and these are some of her favourite birds.

So many such news bits floating around. Tech companies that made themselves ubiquitous in our lives are fascist. Its not too late to say "whoops" and leave them. I've already left Amazon, Meta, Microsoft, and am in the process of leaving Android and all Google platforms. And LOVING it!!!

Sure I'd love that! I've written a whole novel on this concept, but haven't put any of it online, because I want to publish it. I figured a few shorter essays/podcasts would be a good intro and teaser for the novel. But it's a long way off because I can't promote myself, so need to find a publisher.
