All finished the thrushes window! Of course, being translucent, it will look spectacular from inside on a sunny day, but this is the view seen most often as people walk by outside. Done with Pēbēo Vitrail glass paints.

Working on these three thrushes (Varied & Swanson's). The window is salvaged from our local community hall. My mother taught preschool there for many years, and these are some of her favourite birds.

As countless US citizens and legal visitors are arrested by unmarked people in hoodies & face-covers, & taken to undisclosed locations, I'm afraid to comment, because it might put me on some list. The only solution is to overcome fear, & trust that the rest of the 80% or so of us is doing the same.

It's amazing salve time! Every few years I make a batch of this, when I or someone in my family needs it. I sell the extra to help pay for ingredients, and because other people love it!

(dis)robe: Nursing Gown is a white wedding gown, painted on the front with a kneeling man in a suit who is drinking from a pipe connected to a metallic brassiere on the bust of the gown. The woman is exploited; the man is disempowered; everybody loses. This gown was originally made to represent codependency in marriage; but also seems to speak boldly about the current US-Canada relationship.
